Frank Skis Restaurant and Lounge

Upon being greeted by the polite staff at the door I thought to myself, "Hell let me get my cell phone out to show my RSVP email so I don't get any drama at the door". So I super greatful that the polite gentleman that greeted me and Dj Gazzel asked for the "party" we are with and when I told him, he looked on his clip board and then the door to Frank Skis magically opened and invited us in to have a good time, that immediately relieved my anxiety of "at-the-door" drama. As we walked in looking left and right I saw everyone was smiling, with or without a drink, even the staff was smiling and instantly I felt positive energy flowing throughout the building. Gazzel and I entered and walked to the back we discovered a wine cellar enclosed by glass a tasting table in the middle a apple cinnamon scented candle lite giving the sense of warmth. Turn around and Wa-lah there was the bar with Frank Skis favorite vodka in curios framing a flat screen displaying moving image of coral reef and fish swimming. As a matter of fact there were flat screen strategically placed throughout the venue with the same image that together with the changing lights of blues and greens made it seem like you were indeed under water or an aquarium.
There were modern style sofas and love seats inside and outside.  Yes there is an outside lounge area as well.   When we got back inside Gazzel stopped to converse with Dj Doc so I took this opportunity to check out the ladies room, as I walked in I noticed there were rocks in the both sinks, odd but I get it and it looked good too, the ventalation was working, it was clean and there were enough stalls, the bathroom passed with flying colors. After my approval of the restroom I quickly exit only to stumble upon another room with red lighting, so I peeked in a there it was another lounge area with a bar. The red light district that I stumbled on had about 30 guests once again all smiling and conversing with eachother. I confirm that everyone was smiling in Frank Skis.
I made my way back to Gazzel and approached him with a smile and he smiled back, then we both agreed this is place has a great atomosphere from entrance to exit. Did I mention how well mannered and manicured the staff was?
Well, let me tell you, I have been to plenty of upscale black establishments with great furniture, location and headliners but I never felt welcomed and I suppose it had to do with the staff, they were rude, in a sense stuck up and brought that same attitude they have when they have a bad straight to work. The staff for a venue is the frosting on the cake; if the staff looks and acts poorly that reflects on the establishment and the owner not the individual. Think about it if you feel welcome and respected as a guest you are going to be more willing to spend money and support the business. The Waitresses were dressed for business wearing white button up shirts, tucked in black high waist pencil skirts, complimented with red suspenders. The Waiters wore the male version black slacks, white button up and red tie making this a complete look, and the Bartenders wore all black which is always a crisp approach.  I am so pleased to say that Frank Skis is a spot where you can literally go and relax and feel welcomed. I sampled something beef and it tasted good but I did not get a chance to look the menu, that will be another night, but on this night Frank Skis Lounge gets the BeMe_PR approval of five kisses out of seven, I believe that Frank Ski has taken his personal experience that he has had through his line of work of going to other lounges, restaurants and clubs and took all the good things and incorporated them into Frank Skis. Thank god he did, someone finally hit it on the nail, I know this establishment will do well based on presentation and great customer service, this lounge truly reflects back to its owner Frank Ski. I will be back to try the menu and hopefully I and everyone will continue to have the Frank Skis smile.
